Karitane School blog

 The Buddy bench is a new bench for Karitane school.  It is by were the hose used to be and is a place for lonely kids to come together and play with each other! This is a great addition to the school and will help bring the children together. Here is an image of the bench. I hope this affects the playground in a positive way that will bring more of the children together, and will last longer than some of the other chairs. It will also be good for when you just want someone to talk to or want to do some reading or drawing! Jess

 This term, Karitane school has decided to team up with the netball team from Waitati school, so most of the year 5 and 6 girls are playing netball for the Waitati Goal busters! Netball practices are at Waitati and Karitane school, and all the games are at the Edgar centre! Their first game is tonight, so wish them luck! Here is a collage I made for Netball. Good luck, team!
